The Emirate of Sharjah is located right next door to bustling Dubai and is a good place to base yourself if you want a slightly quieter time and don't mind its more conservative way of life (Sharjah is a "dry" Emirate so no alcohol is available for sale). On the plus side, there is plenty of cultural attractions to keep you busy and hotel prices are usually slightly cheaper than you would pay in nearby Dubai.
As the host to the 2022 Football World Cup, you will soon be able to find plenty of new places to stay in the capital Doha and there are a number of destinations adding new accommodation around the beaches and smaller towns in the country.
If you are planning a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain for either business or leisure, chances are you will end up staying in the capital, Manama. This is where you will find the majority of the accommodation and occasionally you can find a new hotel opening there.
